REX JUMPS 7′ FEET 4″ INCHES IN EXTREME VERTICLE AT DOCKDOGS

‘Rex’, a 16 month old Belgian Malinois owned by Fred Hassen, is seen here jumping 7′ Feet 4″ at the 2008 Great Outdoors Dock Dogs event in Nelsonville, Ohio. The world record for this event is 7-8. The bumper is extended 8 feet out from the dock, and is gradually raised as people miss the jump. Each competitor is allowed 2 tries at the height. DockDogs is the fastest rising dog sport, and has grown from 20 teams, to over 20,000 teams in a short period of time. Fred is a member of the Las Vegas Dock Dogs club.
