Teach your dog how to find things

Teaching your dog to find things can be a lot of fun for both you and your dog.
The dog you see in this video is a four -month-old puppy. This training exercise can also get your puppy used to navigating through tall grass.

You don’t see it in this video but it’s best to start by throwing the ball right at the beginning where the grass starts.

It’s good for the dog to be able to see the ball when you throw it and see where it lands but because of the height of the grass once he gets there he will have to use his nose.
Using different objects will teach the puppy or the adult dog that he has to find the object and not limit himself to just his favorite toy.

Whether you live in the city or the country when you take your dog out for a walk you can always find a place to hide a toy. Maybe in a bush or behind a tree.
What ever you choose to hide always make it fun and exciting for your dog and he will enjoy it and so will you.
