Sit Means Sit Dog Training in Northwestern Colorado
How many times has your dog been barking at something, but you have no idea at what? That's because dogs have a very acute sense of hearing. They can hear things we could never dream of hearing. They can hear the car door shut from three houses down. Then in the very next moment we find ourselves screaming from the top of our lungs at them from 5 feet away, trying to get their attention. Dogs can HEAR us, but we just need to teach them to listen.
Here at Sit Means Sit, Northwestern Colorado, we specialize in getting your dog off leash and under control under severe distractions. I mean how many of us have wanted to go someplace with our dogs, and thought to ourselves, "What if there are other dogs there… or kids…. or balls… or ANY distraction?" I mean, let's face it, we don't live in the mountains so that we can stay at home, or take our dogs for a "brief leash walk in town," we want to be outdoors, hiking or biking, or exploring the beautiful mountains we live in. We get dogs to enhance our lives, not hinder them!
Lisa Singer has been training dogs and their humans professionally for the past 12 years. She is originally from Phoenix, AZ, but has been living in Colorful Colorado for the past 9. Lisa has 3 dogs of her own. Upon moving to Colorado, she was introduced to the Sit Means Sit method of training, and like many others was a bit skeptical. Although as we say, "Seeing is Believing!" Once she began using the method with her own dogs, she knew that this was going to be the ONLY way from this day forward. That's why she decided to open her own Sit Means Sit location.
They offer a method of training that makes every other method look like WORK. It is a very quick, humane and non-confrontational method of getting your dogs attention. So, if you're tired of yelling at your dog, or giving those corrections constantly, then give Lisa and Sit Means Sit Northwestern CO a call.
Happy Dog Training Customers of Northwestern Colorado
Rico is, happily, a changed dog. (Lisa) taught us both how to work with and respect each other. He is happy…eager to please…. now he comes, sits, and places with the greatest of ease. We're looking forward to many wonderful years ahead, now, with our pal, Rico.
Thanks, Lisa!

Obedience Unleashed helped to change our out of control dog to the best behaved at the park. He now enjoys freedom off leash that would be impossible without Lisa's training! I recommend remote collar training for any owner who would like their dog to be trustworthy in any situation. E-collars are safe and effective and do not cause any pain or harm to the dog. I highly recommend it!
