2.Crows Woods
Location: Haddonfield-Kings Hwy. West, make a Left onto Warwick Rd. and continue approx. 1 mile. Turn Left onto Upland Way and follow under the train bridge. Immediately after you pass under the bridge, make a right at the sign for Crows Woods and continue to the parking lot.
Hours: Sunrise-Sunset
Info: Dense woods with trails marked with tree trunks, sandy walking trails, and a swimming hole
Bring poop bags as there are none in the woods
More of a nature area, this park is much more pleasing to meander in than most dog parks surrounded by chain link fencing

3. John Connolly Park
Location: Voorhees-295 North to exit 32; Turn Right onto Route 561 (Haddonfield Berlin Rd.) for about 3 miles, then turn Left onto Clementon Rd. and follow for about 1.5 miles. Turn Left into the entrance for Connolly Park
Hours: Sunrise-Sunset
Info: 2 separate runs: one for dogs under 35lbs and the other for those over 35lbs
Poop bags, water bowls, benches, and shade trees are found in both runs
No children under 12 are permitted and a valid license is required
While the dog park area is fairly nice, the rest of the park is not at all dog-friendly- dogs are not allowed on the walking trails or anywhere else in the park, regardless of whether or not they’re on a leash

4. Laurel Acres Park
Location: Mount Laurel-Route 38 to Church St. South. Park is on the left at the 5th traffic light. 2nd Entrance on Union Mill Rd. between Academy Blvd. and Elbo La.
Hours: 7am – Dusk
Info: 2 separate runs: one for dogs under 40lbs and the other for those over 40lbs
Late afternoon is extremely busy
Poop bags and a bench available
A concrete walkway in the middle of both runs, which is important since it can get pretty muddy at times
Fenced in with chain link

5. Duke’s Dog Run at Freedom Park
Location: Medford-Is inside Freedom Park at the intersection of Jones Rd. and Union Rd. just off Route 70
Hours: Sunrise-Sunset
Info: This is a the absolute favorite dog park of Kristin and her dogs, who frequent the park at least once a week
2 huge open fields…no fences, just surrounded by thick treeline
Natural stream for the dogs to play in
Some pieces of agility equipment has recently been added to the front field, bought by local pet businesses, that is open to all dogs
There are normally some poop bags at the entrances, but no water or bowls

6. Higbee Beach Wildlife Management Area
Location: Cape May-Route 9 south from Cape May Village, make a Left onto Route 626. Cross the bridge and turn Right onto New England Rd. . The road dead-ends at Higbee Beach. Once there, veer Right and follow the sandy road to the parking area.
Hours: Sunrise-Sunset
Info: ½ mile stretch of beach that contains the last remnant of coastal dune forest
This area is managed as a stop-over place for the migration of southern bound birds
Dogs are technically supposed to be on a leash, but as long as your dog will come back when called you will not have a problem
Although it’s a beach, this area is rocky, some come in sturdier shoes than your beach flip flops
There are trash cans and port-a pots, but no poop bags or water, so don’t forget your own
Depending on the winds and tide, the beach can be pretty buggy, so bring insect repellent
