Fred Hassen, Founder and CEO of Sit Means Sit Inc. was recently featured in an article by the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) on using online video marketing such as YouTube to build your business.
For Fred Hassen, owner of Sit Means Sit Dog Training in Las Vegas, the key to gaining traction through YouTube is consistency. Around Thanksgiving of 2009, Hassen got serious about promoting his business through the site. He told his then-small audience to expect a new training video each day for a year. Since then, he has posted at least one new video a day, totaling more than 600 videos that have generated nearly 3 million views. “It’s important to be in front of people and let them see the product,” Hassen says. “With video, you can get in front of a lot more people.”
