Hi i just got a german shepherd and she is now 12 weeks old we got her when she was 8 weeks old but how do i get her to jump over anything like you just did with that dog?I know im not going to be able to do this at this age but i would like to know the steps or whatever it takes foe it to be this way.Thank you

Just saw Luciano Aguilar promoting Dog “Crating” on TV. Crates are okay for a dog to use for a bed (or on the other hand for a designated bathroom with puppy pads in it), etc, just as long as you're not closing your dog in the crate. Don't close a dog in a “crate” unless it's on the rare occasion for a very limited time period for the dog's safety, for example, during transport. How long would you like to be locked in a cage only slightly bigger than you are? For how many days in a row? How long could you even stand being enclosed in one room? Get real. A closed “crate” is a cage. The trend of keeping dogs in crates for hours a day is a very unfortunate, inhumane trend which is currently gaining in popularity simply because it is convenient and easy for people. It is just as cruel as chaining a dog. People use the term “crate” as a euphemism for cage because they don't want to admit they are caging a dog. If you are a person who is planning on keeping a dog in a crate/cage, please don't get a dog. Dogs are living beings, not toys for you to keep in a box until you want to play with them. Only get a dog if you can provide your dog with freedom of movement, comfort, and a humane life. Have a dog door leading to a secure yard before getting the dog. Or if you don't have a yard and won't be able to let your dog out frequently during the day, make alternative plans whether it's puppy pads in a designated area for your dog to use, or a trusted adult who will take your dog out for a walk, or a daycare for your dog if you are sure it can provide a safe, healthy, and humane/happy environment for you dog.

It has to do mainly with the constant motion and activity the ball produces from the dogs interaction, or the retrieval and prey drive of the dog.

Do you guys do behavior training? My mothers dog (pit/boxer mix) is very aggressive towards other dogs (All sizes) and she is looking for help. She has had some private obedience training but when he see another dog she can not control him. If not, do you know someone who does? Thank you for your help, Crystal

Just an update on our GSD that Ben came out and worked with a year ago. When we called you up we had just gotten a 6 month old GSD with a head injury that left him parially deaf and having seizures. We are happy to say he is seizure free, can hear well and completely off all meds now!
Last month Andre recieved his AD and SG1 in conformation in a Regional Schutzhund show. We have also gotten his CGC and working on his BH. I will also be working on titling him in Obedience in Schutzhund.
Thank you so much for helping us with a difficult situation. Just thought you would enjoy hearing how well he has turned out!
We are quite proud of him

he is lovely and very caring, he aint aggressive, however if i let him off the lead in the park he will not come back to me if i call him! i have tried everything i could think of, but still not solution? could you pleas help me?

Is your training collar an electric collar, which I have no problem with, but they have been available for years. Also, once you take the collar off will the dog do the commands or do they need to have the collar on all the time.

A couple of years ago I looked into your training for my dog, but did not have the money at the time. I have been successful with the “Koehler Method” of training, but I want to continue further with your method. I just bought and had the collar shipped to me. There is only one problem, I live in Omaha, Nebraska and there are no trainers (listed) in Nebraska or Iowa. Is there a book out there that can help me? Any other suggestions?
