Would like to congratulate Morris Chaisson for completing our initial program and opening his “Sit Means Sit” dog training in the New Orleans area very soon. A quick little intro to Morris:
Morris is currently competing with his GSD Aiden, which he has trained from 8 weeks old. Aiden got his BH at 17 months old and his Sch1 title at 20 months, winning high in tracking, high obedience, high protection and high in trial at the Red River Schutzhund Club. Just 2 months later Aiden earned his Sch2 again winning high in tracking, high obedience and high in trial. At 2 ½ years old Aiden got his Sch3 title at the AWDF Championship and took home the trophy for youngest IPO3. In November 2006, Morris and “Aiden” took high protection and high in trial at the Cypress Working Dog Association. They also competed at the South Central Regional trial in February 2007.

Morris is currently training a Belgian Malinois, that he brought ‘green’ to the “Sit Means Sit” training school, and hopes to begin competing with him in the fall of 2007.

In 2003, Morris attended the Tom Rose School for Dog Trainers and graduated from the Professional Trainer Program. Morris began his own training business, K-9 Excellence, in 2004 providing obedience training to the public as well as narcotic searches done with his dogs Hawk and Aiden, which he personally trained in drug detection work. Morris also works part time for American Detection Technologies as a bomb dog handler.

Morris completed Training Helper Techniques through East Coast K-9 and certified as Schutzhund USA helper through Ark-La-Tex Schutzhund Club. We are proud to add Morris Chaisson to a list of successful trainers with “Sit Means Sit” businesses. Morris’ location will officially open in a couple of months. His webpage will be up with our other new locations of Sacramento California, Riverside California, and Oklahoma which will be added upon the launching of our new website shortly.

Hi, My name is Caitlin and I just graduated from the proffessional trainer program at the Tom Rose School in May 2008. I am really interested in becoming a sit means sit trainer. Just wanted to know if you could give me some advice or information on the sit means sit program.
